NOT SEEN YET BELIEVED!

But on the first day of the week at early dawn, the women went to the tomb, taking the spices which they had made ready. And they found the stone rolled back from the tomb. But when they went inside, they did not find the body of the Lord Jesus (Luke 24: 1-3)

I just love these fearless ladies who went to the tomb on a dark Sunday morning. I asked myself, would I have gone to the tomb along with these women if I had lived at that time?

Today all of us have the evidences of empty tomb, folded grave clothes, two men in white…..and more. But on that Sunday morning what brought them here? It is nothing but their Faith in Jesus and His words that sustained them and kept them walking from Pilate’s judgement hall to mount Golgotha and now to the tomb!

Circumstances did not hinder their Faith. They did not wait to ‘see ‘ before they believed, but believed before they saw!

As we celebrate this Easter let me remind you of the words of Jesus,

“..Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed” (John 20: 29).

Let these words give you a living hope and be the foundation for an unshakeable faith on the One who I trust is at work, in spite of what I see or don’t see.

BLESSED EASTER TO YOU ALL!
