God can change your impossibilities today!

This evening I was reading I Samuel 23, where David was told by God that he was the chosen leader of Israel. But very much like Moses who waited eighty years to really be in the place God needed him, it took God some time to get David from the pasture into the palace.

Patience is something for you and me to be reminded of in the way God works! His pace seems too slow isn’t it?

Look what happens to David! He had a spear thrown at him by King Saul. He was let out a window by his wife Michal in order to save his life. He was warned by his best friend Jonathan that he was in danger. David had to run to the wilderness where he lived in caves and mountains.

Remember that David had already been anointed by the prophet Samuel as the next King of Israel!!

I am sure when David was being chased by King Saul, he must have wondered How is God going to get him out of this mess and put him on the throne! How???? When????

Doesn’t it sound familiar in our life too? How long Lord? When will it all change?

How did it all change? A strange thing happened out there in the wilderness. Out of the blue a messenger arrived informing King Saul that the Philistines were attacking which made King Saul take off and David was free.

Unbelievable!1 This is how quickly our Father can change things. In one moment there’s no hope. In the very next moment safety is just one step ahead.

How about you? Are you in a situation like David? Let me advice you to keep in constant communication with our Father like David walking every moment within the protective covering of His will and way!

God can change your impossibilities today!
